A referral prepaid card encourages customers or employees to share a brand with their friends and family. Referral bonuses are then awarded in the form of funds loaded onto referral prepaid cards.
Referrals can be earned by anyone who has a network of connections and interacts with others, whether in a personal or professional capacity. This includes individuals, businesses, entrepreneurs, service providers, and even employees.
Tip Tolerance is a temporary charge added to your REV Prepaid Mastercard® when it is used at hotels, restaurants, bars, salons, and certain retailers. (Usually at places that add gratuities for their services.)
The tolerance amount could be up to an additional 20% of your bill. Once the transaction has settled, the tolerance is then released and no longer held.
If your purchase total after adding in the tolerance amount, exceeds the balance on the card, the transaction will be declined.
Example: If your total bill at a restaurant is $100, the card may be preauthorized for $100 + 20%. Although you will only be charged for the $100, you will need an available balance of at least $120 on the card for the transaction to be approved.
